One of the toughest indigenous trees around! It can withstand extreme wind and coastal conditions while surviving on very little water and growing in heavy clay soil. Not only is it tough, but it has beautiful features such as the silvery-grey leaves, gnarly brown trunk and stunning fluffy white puffs of flowers! Often growing naturally in more shrub-like clusters around our coastal regions, we prefer to cultivate it in a clear stem form with its impressive v-shape canopy exaggerated. Also suitable to plant as a hedge as well as in a small garden as this tree doesn't really get much bigger than 8 metres. You won't go wrong with this tree.
