Your best option for very very windy conditions where you need a hedge / screening tree that will grow fast. This tree generally grows naturally in a shrub-like form, but can be a beautiful specimen when cultivated with a clear stem (which is what we do). The silvery-blue foliage gives a calming colour to the landscape while the cream-white flowers attract an array of birds and bees to your garden. It does well in harsh windy and coastal conditions and is therefore an excellent choice for the cape coastal climate. This tree won’t disappoint!
