Take note
  • Should any underground structures (solid rock, old foundations, building rubble) or utility service lines (e.g. water, irrigation, sewage, electricity, telecom, remote security, etc.) be encountered whilst digging planting holes, we will need to charge for the additional time spent as a result of these unforeseen obstacles.

    The following rates will apply:

    • R600.00/hour on site as well as for time spent travelling. This covers a team of one manager and 3 to 4 workers
    • R5.50/km for any additional trips required
    • Any special equipment (jack hammers, generators etc.) rental will be charged to the client
  • Although we always work carefully and responsibly, we accept no liability for any damages to underground utility services (e.g. water, irrigation, sewage, electrical, telecom, remote security, etc.). The client is responsible to arrange and pay for any repairs to damaged utility services.
  • Digging of 250-litre planting holes is done by the same team(s) that does the delivery and installation of the trees.
  • Digging of planting holes for all bag sizes larger than 250-litres is usually done by a completely different team, which requires a separate trip from the planting (crane truck) team. The end result is a high expense for a relatively simple job that could be solved by using local workforce instead.
