General locality description:

Our nurseries are beautifully situated amongst the Helderberg Vineyards along Winery Road, Helderberg;
We have two sales nurseries. The smaller of the two situated on the corner of Winery Road and the R44 (Somerset West - Stellenbosch);
Only 35 km, or a 20 minute drive from Cape Town;
Just off the N2 before Somerset West;
Located 6 km from Somerset West and 12 km from Stellenbosch

DIRECTIONS:

ROUTE 1:

Approaching from Cape Town via the N2 freeway,
You will have the following two choices:

Route 1.1

Via the R44 / Broadway Boulevard (the easiest but not the shortest route)

Take EXIT 43 (Broadway Boulevard - Somerset West, Stellenbosch) off-ramp off the N2.

At the top of the bridge, turn LEFT onto Broadway Boulevard (R44), direction Stellenbosch. Cross the robot intersection with Main Road passing the Lord Charles Hotel on your left hand side as you go up the hill. Continue along the R44 direction Stellenbosch for ± 4 km.

Turn LEFT into Winery Road signposted Firgrove, Maccassar. You will see one of our nurseries, named Corner Nursery, on your right. Follow our signage by driving ± 1 km down Winery Road and ….

turn LEFT at the FIRST ENTRANCE on your LEFT hand side. The entrance has white plastered pillars and short curved wall sections on either side, and has the name Papyrus Lodge written on the white wall. The Trees South Africa signboard also appears next to the white walled entrance.

Follow the Trees South Africa signs to the SALES OFFICE 100 meter further.

Route1.2

Via Firgrove – the shortest route

Take EXIT 38 (Firgrove, M9, Maccassar Road) off-ramp off the N2.

At the top of the bridge, turn left following signage indicating Firgrove and M9. Continue ± 500 meters to the robot intersection with the R102. Continue straight across the robots following the signage for the M9. The road will curve to your right and at the same time cross the railway via a road bridge.

± 400 meters after crossing the bridge over the railway, turn LEFT into Winery Road. Signage at this LEFT turn indicates Winery Road, (R44) and Raithby. Continue along Winery Road (do not turn right into Steynsrust Road!) for ± 3km, until you see the Stellenbosch Vineyards Wine Tasting and Winery on your right. Continue past the Winery for ± 300 meter and…

turn right at Papyrus Lodge. The entrance has white plastered pillars and short curved wall sections on either side. Follow the signs to the SALES OFFICE 100 meter further.

Route2

Approach from Stellenbosch along the R44 (Broadway Boulevard) driving direction Somerset West and Strand

± 12 km outside Stellenbosch, after crossing the Annandale Road robot intersection and past the Country Rose Nursery and Restaurant on your right hand side, look out for the FIRST big tar road on your RIGHT, called Winery Road – signposted to go to Firgrove and Maccassar.

Turn right into Winery Road. You will see one of our nurseries, named Corner Nursery, on your right. Follow our signage by driving ± 1 km down Winery Road and ….

Route 3.

Approach from the N2 via Baden Powel Drive (R310). driving direction Stellenbosch

Take the Baden Powel Drive turn-off, direction Stellenbosch.

Turn RIGHT onto the Annandale Road. This turn off is directly opposite the TOTAL Garage and ± 1 km BEFORE the Spier Estate. Continue along the Annandale Road for ± 5 km to the big T-junction intersection with the R44 (Broadway Boulevard).

Turn RIGHT at the robots direction Somerset West and follow the instructions described in Route 2 above (Approach from Stellenbosch)
